The Community Safety and Social Services Standing Committee is being provided with an update on the progress of the two initiatives identified in the Building Safer Communities Fund project.

The Community Safety and Social Services Standing Committee is being presented with an annual overview of Municipal Enforcement’s departmental priorities and operations for 2024.

Airdrie FCSS Overview (Natasha Guillot, Social Planner)

The Community Safety and Social Services Standing Committee is being presented with an overview of the Airdrie Family and Community Support Services program and an update on preparations for the 2026-2028 Funding Cycle.

FCSS Policy Amendments (Natasha Guillot, Social Planner)

The Community Safety and Social Services Standing Committee is being asked to recommend that Council endorse a new Airdrie Family and Community Support Services Policy with amendments that align with Council’s new committee structure, current policy standards and minor edits to better reflect the intent of the principles.

The Community Safety and Social Services Standing Committee is being asked to recommend that Council endorse a new Social Policy with amendments that align with Council’s new committee structure, current policy standards and minor edits to better reflect the intent of the principles.
