Council is being presented with the Multi-Use Facility and Public Library Project February Status Report, which includes research on Public Art in municipal facilities and is being asked to provide direction regarding Public Art for the project.

Council is being asked to give three readings to Bylaw No. B-08/2022, being a bylaw to regulate the movement of dangerous goods within the City of Airdrie and designate dangerous goods routes and truck routes.

Council is presented with Procedure Bylaw B-14/2022 being the newly revised Procedure Bylaw and is being asked to provide three readings.

Council is being asked to proclaim April 7, 2022 as Green Shirt Day in Airdrie, illuminate City Hall in green lights and hold a Free Family Skate on the Rocky View Ice at Genesis Place from 6 to 8 pm to remember the Humboldt Broncos Bus Tragedy and in honour of Logan Boulet's Legacy by inspiring Canadians to talk to their families about and register as organ donors.

Council is being asked to provide a letter in support of the Airdrie Boys and Girls Club's application to the CIP Community Initiatives Program for a 2-year grant to support additional operating funds for enhanced Licensed Child Care programs and Out of School programing for children ages 5 to12 years and the creation of a Children's Program Coordinator to meet the growing needs of the community.

A Public Hearing is being held on Bylaw No. B-07/2022, being a bylaw to amend Land Use Bylaw No. B-01/2016 by adding Child Care, Limited as a Permitted use in the Direct Control 16-C District, applying only to the subject property legally described as Lot 12, Block 30, Plan 7911031 and addressed as 93 Spring Dale Circle SE.  Immediately following the public hearing, Council will be asked to give three readings to the bylaw.

Mr. Mark Locking, Director of Community Growth and Protective Services is retiring after 36 years of service with the City and would like to appreciate Council for their support and direction.
