A Public Hearing is being held on Bylaw No. B-17/2024, being a bylaw to amend Land Use Bylaw No. B-01/2016, by creating the Downtown Plan and Community Revitalization Levy Boundary area and associated Land Use Bylaw standards.

Immediately following the public hearing, Council will be asked to give three readings to the bylaw.

Mayor Brown has proclaimed the week of June 3 to 9, 2024 as Seniors' Week in Airdrie to honour and recognize all that seniors have contributed to making our families, communities and province stronger.

Council is being asked to give three readings to Bylaw No. B-06/2024, being a new User Fees and Charges Bylaw which includes new user fees and charges effective September 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025 as outlined in the Bylaw and in the attached Schedule “A”.

Council is being asked to approve the 2023 audited financial statements and 2023 Financial Information Return and accept the 2023 Annual Report for information.

Council is being provided with information on the Standing Committee Citizen Member Appointment Framework and is being asked to approve the Participation Support for Standing Committee Citizen Members Policy.

At the April 2, 2024 meeting, Council gave notice that a motion will be made on April 16, 2024 to direct Administration to review the regulations for Supportive Housing developments and undertake a campaign to inform and engage the public on this development issue, seeking input for regulations as outlined in the attached Notice of Motion.
