Council is being presented with a review of Smoking Bylaw No. B-44/2004 and Cannabis Consumption Bylaw No. B-26/2018 relative to the actions of other communities in response to a Notice of Motion from Council.

Council is being provided with a micromobility framework to govern the deployment of new and emerging modes of mobility including shared e-scooters and e-bikes by private businesses via a two-year pilot.

Council is being asked to proclaim May 2022 as GBS and CIDP Awareness Month in Airdrie, to raise awareness of and support for patients and families afflicted with Guillain-Barré Syndrome and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy which are rare conditions that can cause paralysis and permanent lifelong residual damage to the peripheral nerves.

Council is being provided with correspondence from a resident asking Council to consider prohibiting door hangers from being left on residents' front doors.

Council is being provided with correspondence from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community requesting Council waive the rental fees for the Town and Country Centre to allow them to host the end of Holy Month celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr on May 2, 2022.

Public Hearings are being held on Bylaw No. B-09/2022, being a bylaw to amend Land Use Bylaw No. B-01/2016 Section 7.36 to update townhouse exemption requirements; and Bylaw No. B-13/2022, being a bylaw to amend Planning Fee and Charges Bylaw No. B-37/2018 to include a new Planning Review fee.  Immediately following the public hearings, Council will be asked to give three readings to the bylaws.

Council is being asked to give three readings to Bylaw No. B-09/2022, being a bylaw to amend Land Use Bylaw No. B-01/2016 by updating townhouse exemption requirements; and Bylaw No. B-13/2022, being a bylaw to amend Planning Fee and Charges Bylaw No. B-37/2018 by including a new Planning Review fee.

Public Hearings are being held on Bylaw No. B-16/2022, being a bylaw to amend the West Hills Community Area Structure Plan to facilitate the Key Ranch Neighbourhood Structure Plan; and Bylaw No. B-17/2022, being a bylaw to adopt the Key Ranch Neighbourhood Structure Plan.  Immediately following the public hearings, Council will be asked to give First and Second Reading to the Bylaws.
