Council is being asked to proclaim June 2022 as Pride Month in Airdrie, raise the pride flag at the old Main Street fire hall and also illuminate City Hall in pride colours on June 18, 2022.

Council is being asked to give three readings to Bylaw No. B-19/2022, being the 2022 annual tax rate bylaw.

Tourism Week Proclamation (Shauna Quinn, Tourism Development Officer)

Council is being asked to proclaim May 29 to June 4 2022, as Tourism Week in Airdrie.

10.2

Measuring Social Well-Being to Improve the Lives of Airdrie Residents (Pauline Clark, Team Leader Social Planning and Chris Esselmont,  Social Planner)

Council is being provided with information about the Social Well-Being Survey which will allow the City to track factors contributing to social well-being and move Council closer to its 2023 to 2026 goal of ensuring that Airdrie is a Caring Community.

2022 Alberta Municipalities Resolutions Submission – Infrastructure Funding and Seconding Resolutions (Leona Esau, Intergovernmental Liaison)

Council is being asked to review an additional resolution and three seconding resolutions for submission to Alberta Municipalities (AM) for consideration and debate at the 2022 AM Convention.

11.1

Request for Proclamation - Community Links (Charlotte Satink, Manager of Legislative Services and IGM/City Clerk)

Council is being asked to proclaim the week of June 6 to 12, 2022 as Seniors' week in Airdrie to honour and recognize all that seniors have contributed to making our families, communities and our province stronger.

Correspondence - Tons of Bux Slo Pitch (Charlotte Satink, Manager of Legislative Services and IGM/City Clerk)

Council is being asked to consider lowering the rate to rent the ball diamonds for June 4 weekend as well as for the September 17 weekend.

11.3

Letter of Support - Korean War Commemorative Committee (Charlotte Satink, Manager of Legislative Services and IGM/City Clerk)

Council is being asked to provide a letter of support, in principle, to the Korean War Commemorative Committee and the RCL #288 regarding their proposal to gift a sculpture to the City that would commemorate the Korean War Gapyeong Battle Victory Monument.
